Stay Warm

I hope everyone is safe and warm after the extreme weather conditions we have all been experiencing lately. As the cold Wellington wind nearly knocked me over on my way to work I realised: I am not prepared! I've been making a few coats, but none for myself. Silly me. The coat below is a mock up of a pattern for a customer order that I think I may finish and keep, to put some layers between me and the cold. Pockets to keep your hands warm, lined AND a very large hood to keep the horizontal rain out - don't mind if I do!

Had a busy week, finished some scarves in record time and there is a long 'To Do' list on my desk. I was hoping to unveil some new jewellery that is very exciting, but have had to push it back as I have had quite a few customer orders over the past two weeks, which is so exciting! On top of all that I've been going a bit wedding crazy, so there maybe a few wedding-themed posts for your reading pleasure, as well as a few DIY home decoration ideas I am yet to plan and write down. For now though, it will have to be good night, take care and stay warm!
