Check it out - Driessa was featured on the front page of Felt! I have been working very long days to keep up with all the sewing that is piling up on my desk. I am so excited, living the dream. It has nearly been a year since I started this little sewing business and I finally feel like it is taking off! There are custom orders flying in and orders from stores too. I love it, I absolutely love it. Thank you all so much. I always dreamt of opening my own store, I would tailor coats all summer long in preparation for winter, as well as finding time to drink coffee and make sun dresses and paint. Well I work off my dining room table but I get to tailor coats and make dresses! I guess the shop, the coffee and the painting are the next step.
These are a few of the coats I have been making lately. Once someone describes the kind of coat they like I find it hard to think of anything else til it is done, I have to break down each step and go over every detail a hundred times because it has to be perfect!
So just another little thank you post about how great you all are for supporting me and helping me to start my dream coming true.
