I can not believe it is May already. April went way to fast, mostly because it was very busy!
I've made a few coats and dresses for The Cuckoos Nest in Dunedin after starting the month finishing a bunch of scarves for Emma in Wellington. I'm also back working full time for the first time in a year! It's a bit of a shock to the system, I realise now how much time I really spend sitting on my couch dreaming up random ideas for Driessa - and I always thought I was so efficient...
So what do I have lined up for May? Well I made a coat and put it up for auction to raise some money for Baby Vann, who is a very gorgeous little man who needs a cochlear implant (links on Driessa's facebook page). The coat sold and I actually gained a few lovely likers looking for some winter coats.
This weekend I'm off to Auckland for a holiday, it's been a while since I've had one so I may need to learn how to relax all over again. When I get back I need to make a few vintage blazers that I am really excited about! I have found some truly beautiful lining that will hopefully make someone smile this winter.
Speaking of winter - man it is getting cold outside. Stay warm!
