Spring 2011

Hello all! Been so long since I've had a spare moment! Lots going on Driessa related and otherwise (sooo many birthdays in September, I'm all party-ed out). Has anyone been keeping track of the Fashion Weeks? I didn't pay too much attention to NZ or NY, but I am excited about London. Love Topshop so much... Lately I've been inspired to get sewing myself.

So these are some dresses and skirts I've been working on for Spring 2011. Looking good so far, I'm loving having an overlocker and speeding through sewing. Going to be taking a clothing rack to my next market, New Rags Market on the 1st of October, and another one to the Greytown Summer Series Markets on the 16th of October, got a busy few months ahead! Full on working September and October, taking a little break in November (or at least sewing a little slower) before the huge rush of the December markets.

It's also nice to actually sell some items from my shop! A huge thank you to those helping me promote Driessa and to those wonderful people that have purchased toys and blocks and clothes, you really have no idea how excited I get when I receive an email notification I've made a sale on Felt! I'll post one more dress picture for you to drool over, then it's back to my sewing desk.
