Little Fritter is a collection of funky laser cut jewellery, made out of wood or acrylic infused with vintage fabrics that make each piece unique and irresistible. Based in Christchurch, but available all over New Zealand, Dunedin at the Cuckoo's Nest, Yellow Brick Road, and Texan Art Schools in Auckland - and of course on Felt! Holly Douglas runs the show with bubba Millie in tow, not only do they make an excellent team but they are family - Holly is my sister and Millie my gorgeous niece!
I purchased some goodies from Little Fritter in the Christmas rush last year. The brooch above and some perching tui earrings for my sister in law - they were a hit! I kept the brooch for myself, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw the pictures online and it is still my most precious accessory. The items arrived on time and beautifully wrapped in a woven flax basket with matching fabric labels and business cards. It was these special touches that made me crazy about Little Fritter, and I will tell anyone who will listen to check out what she has designed.
Every time I wear the brooch I get compliments. I definitely recommend Holly's jewellery for gifts for others or yourself, they are classically designed and will be admired for years to come.
