Sewing Challenge: Bridesmaids Dresses

Brief: Create three dresses for three bridesmaids in 10 days.
Wedding Theme: Silver, white and black, elegant garden party.
Things I will Need: Coffee, fabric, pattern, thread, pins, patience and a measuring tape.

Day 1 - Cut out the three dresses in fabric and lining, sewn two of the main dresses together. Tomorrow morning will see the last dress sewn together and hopefully all of the lining....

Day 3 -  Had a weird couple of days. One dress has been sewn to the lining and is looking good! Just have to get the others to the same point... Lining done and dresses done just not combined yet, then it's zipping time :)

Day 4 - All dresses sewn to lining, zips in, fitting with the other bridesmaids tonight!

Day 5 - Nearly finished all the hand sewing and alterations. Then it's just the hem and over skirt left.

Day 7 - Hand sewing is BORING. But nearly done!

Day 8 - Started overskirts... We are going to look like beautiful princesses in puffy dresses! We just need tiaras :)

Day 9 - Sneaky photo preview!

Day 10 - DONE! Three bridesmaids dresses completed in 10 days... Wedding tomorrow!

Evaluation: If I had more time, I would have been able to do a bit more on the over skirts, but all in all VERY happy, was a wonderful day. Let me know what you think!
