Not Been Up To Much

So this is my latest creation. How cute, huh?

Been pretend busy all weekend. Since I hurt my back a couple of weeks ago I haven't been able to do much and that has got me out of my routine, and boy is it hard to get back into it. My back is pretty much all better now, it just hurts when I'm at my sewing machine for too long, which is no good! I have a photoshoot this friday that I need to make a few more things for, and it's looking like two markets the following weekend instead of just the one. Eeeek...

I have also been working hard on a few pairs of shorts for The Cuckoo's Nest, just like the one you see above. Running seriously low on fabric, so if anyone has seen any good quality fabrics in need of saving and creating into something new, please let me know. For more new items, like Driessa on Facebook or Twitter for daily photos and the first peek at the pics from the photoshoot. Here's hoping December is nice and busy for Driessa heading into Christmas, I've only made one custom dress in November and that's no fun at all. I love creating garments especially for someone, my sewing is very personal, most of the time there is only one of everything I make. But I love seeing what other people like to wear, as a designer you have to keep things fresh to cater to everyone's needs. That is the most interesting part of it. For me anyway!
