I love winter fashion! I love that it is cold enough to wear coats, gloves, leg warmers, boots and scarves. I always give myself an allowance to buy more clothes during winter simply because I feel like I'm allowed to wear twice the amount of layers I normally wear. Wellington has let me down a bit this year, we have had sunshine all week. Winter this year has been one of the sunniest in a few decades, just when I have an opportunity to dress up snug and show off my coat tailoring skills. It's almost like the rain knew...
However, August can still be mighty cold, you know. And spring-bringing September is no guarantee that the weather will warm up too fast, so... I guess you'll be needing a few items to help you through it. Maybe you should check out my shop? New "End of Winter" collection has been unleashed and you might wanna get in there fast, once it's gone, it's gone!
An item I am most proud of in the collection is my red coat. Machine and hand tailored down to the very last detail, 40% wool, 30% nylon and 30% polyester, grey lining surrounded by a bold red. Even made the buttons myself! I made a similar coat last year for my mother, who needed to be kept warm travelling to Angers to visit my sister for a bitterly cold french Christmas. Now that is real weather!
